TOOLS NEEDED: PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER DRILL WITH 1/8” DIAMETER DRILL BIT LEVEL PENCIL NOTE: Existing door lock can remain or can be disabled at the installer’s discretion

1

Remove all of the contents from the bag.

2

Start with the cleansing wipe.

3

Open and unfold the wipe.

4

Wipe down the door surface with an alcohol swab to ensure the surface is clean.

5

Start with the strike plate and remove the wax paper to expose the adhesive.

6

(If you have trouble with the paper removal, use a utility knife to score the paper in the middle to create a crack and peel effect.)

7

Once the paper is removed press the strike plate into position on the post. As close to the edge as possible (approximately 1/8” from the edge closest to the door)

Before Drilling: Screws are recommended but not required when using the stick on application. However, StallMATE™ highly recommends using screws to install the strike plate due to the small surface area of the adhesive.

8

Once the strike plate is in position on the post use your 1/8” drill to create holes in the door for the screws.

9

Use a Phillips screw driver to tighten the screws.

10

Identify if it is a right or left hinge door. Assemble the main unit by inserting the slide bar into the unit so that the bent part is on the same side as the door, NOT THE POST SIDE.

11

For a right hinged door put the slide bar in the opposite side.

12

I nsert the bar into the guide and then insert the ¼” screw provided to hold the bar in place. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREW) Then remove the wax paper that covers the adhesive on the back of the StallMATE.™

(Be careful to not press the unit to the door until the slide bar is fully aligned and inserted into the strike plate, as you will not be able to move the unit once adhered to the door.

13

Once the unit is adhered to the door, use your 1/8” drill to create holes for the reinforcement screws.

14

9. Use a Phillips screw driver to tighten the screws.

15

And that’s it! Now just alert everyone around you that the device is on the door! Problem Solved!

To Remove: Simply spray the stick-on adhesive with any form of adhesive removal liquid or WD40®. Take a piece of dental floss or fishing line then starting at top place between door surface and back of the StallMATE,™ shimmy the line back and forth while applying down pressure until unit is removed.
